"A quart of ale is a dish for a king." - William Shakespeare

It has been quite a Summer of firsts for the Corner Brewery. In July ee hosted our first art fair. In August we hosted our first (and hopefully not our last) election night victory party, and acquired our first (and hopefully last) Antique Fire Truck. And thus far in September we have bottled our first beer, hosted our first live music event and hosted our first wedding. (I'll fill you in on the fire truck in a future post.)

I don't want to jinx anything, but after three weeks of frustration and a lot of part replacements, it appears that the boys have finally gotten the bottler humming. We will be sending out 480 cases of beer to our distributor on Oct 3 for immediate placement in over 100 accounts in SE Michigan. The Bavarian Bliss and Red Snapper are now available in 6 packs at the Corner and we hope to add the IPA and Blonde by this weekend. Thanks SO very much to Patrick Drone, Dannyboy Perone, Dan Tracy, Nick Ramsey, brewer Matt Greff and of course our own foamboy Ryan Hale (who is also our new assistant brewer).

Last weekend two of the nicest people on the planet had the most beautiful little wedding on a gorgeous sunny day in the beer garden. The picture is of the lovely bride Kathryn partaking in a very special unity ceremony with two bottles of Bliss and one hand-crafted stein. Congrats to Eric and Kathryn!

But enough about the past. There are lots of great events coming up at the Corner!
